Rediscovering GoodReads

I know GoodReads has been around for a million years but I am not tech savvy at all, and while yes, I did start a GoodReads account in my sophomore year of high school, I did not know how it worked at all.

And I still kinda don't. But I'm getting better.

Come be my friend! https://www.goodreads.com/goodreadscomuser_katelynoverby (Sorry this isn't a link. Again, not tech savvy).

This had to be shared.

I have never found anything more relatable.

After spending more hours than I'd like to admit scrolling along Tumblr, I found this little gem. And it describes my life in a few short images.

I DID IT! BOOKTUBE!

I've been wanting to officially join the BookTube community by making videos for For. Ev. Er. And I've finally done it! I finished Assassin's Blade by Sarah J. Maas yesterday and recorded and edited my first book review. After a lot of balancing my phone on my easel (usually used for painting and NOT iPhone balancing) and several awkward first-takes, I finally have a finished product and am so happy to post it. I can't wait to do another! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4HPiVpQf3p4

So I am currently a freshman in college. And a part of me thought that I could totally handle editing my manuscript and getting back in shape AND taking my finals, turning in projects, maintaining my sanity, etc. in just one week.
On an unrelated note, I'm about to watch the last episode of the last season of Parks and Recreation.

Basically my new motto.

Welcome to my blog! I'm here to talk about books and writing and anything that may or may not be related to those topics. There will be things. Let's do this adventure together. Won't you join me?
